What would happen if Hello Kitty’s world of “Pretty-in-Pink” was invaded by a few friends like Gloomy, Astro Boy, Uran-Chan, Frankenberry(bots), Pink Panther, Dunny-Gloomy, Gloomy-Kitty-Chan, and a lot of apples…like 3? It’s a Pinksploitation Battle Royale like you’ve never seen before!
Really…I love Gloomy Bear and so drew an actual Gloomy Toy for this piece which is why he has that semi-3-dimensional look to him. Atomu (Astro Boy) is back to old 60′s Tezuka days as is his sister Uran-chan, showing a little skin as she tries to prevent Gloomy-Kitty-Chan from squirting more…um…ketchup on everyone.
Hello Kitty’s weight as best expressed in measurement of 3 apples, mystically present above Uran’s battle with Gloomy-Kitty. You can also see a “Gloomy-Mimi-Kitty” which has never actually existed as a toy or plush.
